Senior Engineer for Data Center GPU at AMD

Job Description

Become part of AMD’s mission as a Senior Engineer specializing in Data Center GPU solutions. Focus on post-silicon validation and utilize your systems engineering skills to innovate and troubleshoot products.

This role is crucial for driving the success of AMD's product lines by executing and contributing to complex validation efforts. You will engage with multiple teams to solve challenges related to SOC design, enabling improvements in product delivery through effective debugging and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead post-silicon validation for SOC IP blocks

• Debug hardware-level issues during key production phases

• Analyze issues with scan dump and reporting tools

• Collaborate for timely feature validation across teams

• Participate in modeling frameworks for silicon failure analysis

Requirements:

• Experience in semiconductor engineering or hardware debugging

• Programming/scripting proficiency (C/C++, Python, Perl)

• Knowledge of SoC architecture and related technologies

• Familiar with power management and error detection concepts

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/computer engineering
