Job Description

Be a key player at Stantec as a Project Controls Professional in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, managing financial analysis and project performance. Ensure budgets meet requirements while providing actionable insights.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive financial oversight and timely reporting. You will engage in risk assessment, coordinate documentation requirements, and monitor consultant budgets, enabling the project team to stay on track and informed.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide detailed cost management and forecasting for projects • Collaborate with teams to prepare monthly financial reports • Ensure compliance with documentation control and ISO standards • Communicate regularly with finance and project leadership • Track project pursuits and maintain accurate records

Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis or project management • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel • Experience in large-scale projects highly valued • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities • Relevant two-year degree in business or related field preferred
