Job Description

Join Canada Goose as a Re-Cuts Specialist, focusing on repairing damaged garment pieces. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and fabric knowledge in a manufacturing environment.

As a Re-Cuts Specialist, you'll perform recuts for the Production floor and rectify Cutting Room mistakes. Key responsibilities include matching shades for in-house production, ensuring timely returns of recut pieces, and utilizing expertise with various fabrics. Your fabric handling and cutting skills will contribute to the overall efficiency of production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform recuts for damaged or missing production pieces

• Match shades effectively for recut items

• Timely return of recut pieces to maintain workflow

• Utilize pattern piece knowledge and drill hole understanding

• Operate scissors and vertical knife cutter accurately

Requirements:

• Knowledge of fabric types and recognition skills

• Detail-oriented with a numeric understanding

• Proficient in English for communication

• Capable of lifting at least 40 lbs

• Experience with pattern recognition and cutting tools
