Pharmacy Technician Needed at UHN

Job Description

UHN is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support its Outpatient Pharmacy operations. This casual role focuses on enhancing client relations and efficient medication management.

In this position at UHN, you will be a key member of the pharmacy team, assisting pharmacists and ensuring all technical responsibilities for prescriptions are handled with care. You will also be involved in preparing medications and managing pharmacy inventory, contributing to a seamless patient experience in a leading Canadian healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pharmacists in all dispensing activities

• Prepare extemporaneous products following protocols

• Maintain efficient pharmacy operations daily

• Manage inventory and automated packaging systems

• Perform other assigned pharmacy tasks

Requirements:

• Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program completion

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Ontario

• Two years of related experience preferred

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
