Lycopodium is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lead in Mississauga to drive design initiatives in mining and minerals projects. This role centers on delivering compliant engineering designs and documentation.

In this strategic position, you will utilize your extensive experience to oversee the preparation of mechanical designs, documentation, and compliance reviews. Your role includes mentoring junior engineers, ensuring project deliverables are met with high-quality standards. You'll collaborate with diverse teams globally, enhancing your impact in the engineering field.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct reviews of mechanical designs for compliance • Produce and manage technical specifications and documentation • Evaluate and recommend vendors for mechanical equipment • Facilitate bid evaluations and vendor documentation reviews • Support project deliveries through expert liaising

Requirements: • University degree in Mechanical Engineering • At least 8 years in mineral processing design • Strong leadership and communication abilities • Proven ability to prioritize and work independently • Commitment to ethical engineering practices
