Program Director for Security Operations

Job Description

Become the Program Director for Security and Emergency Preparedness at Baycrest. This position is pivotal in ensuring a safe environment through effective management and training initiatives.

You will be responsible for overseeing Baycrest's security operations, implementing a comprehensive emergency preparedness program. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to develop safety strategies, conduct training, and ensure compliance with provincial regulations. Your leadership will significantly influence the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage the security and emergency response services on campus • Collaborate on safety strategy with senior management • Ensure adherence to health and fire safety regulations • Create and implement training programs for emergency protocols • Liaise with internal and external safety stakeholders

Requirements: • 6-9 years of relevant management experience • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • Valid license in security services preferred • Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator is a plus • Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and legislation
