Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager will use project management methodologies and best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget. He/she will be working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment handling a varied portfolio of high visibility projects with many stakeholders and sometimes competing priorities. He/she will work closely with other infrastructure and application teams to design, plan and implement technical solutions including leading and directing project resources through to implementation, in a global data network environment.
The Reporting Relationship:
The position reports to the IT PMO Manager.

Key Competencies:
• Strong Project Management skills in a PMO environment.
• Designing and writing the runbook to deploy infrastructure for applications including Windows, Linux, Oracle, SQL, Citrix, VMWare, Storage and Backup.
• Working closely with the Operations team on deployment of the applications.
• Disaster Recovery
• Ability to deliver on tight timelines
• Ability to interact and present to senior level stakeholders
Skills Desired:
• Strong PM skills
• Strong personality. Needs to be forceful and not be a walkover
• Technical background – not expecting an expert, but someone who has sound conceptual knowledge of the following:
o MCSE training/qualifications
o VMWare stack
o Storage technologies
o Network including firewalls
o Backup/replication technologies
o Citrix
