Transform authentication at GitLab as a Senior Software Engineer, working remotely to build innovative security features. Streamline user experiences and enhance system security across the platform.

As a part of the Authentication team, you'll be implementing next-generation features in GitLab's Rails monolith and GATE. Your technical expertise in Go and Ruby, coupled with experience in access management technologies, will play a crucial role in ensuring effective identity services. This role allows you to directly influence user authentication practices and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in developing features for GitLab's GATE

• Implement migration strategies from legacy systems

• Architect new authentication mechanisms effectively

• Strengthen access management and security tools

• Promote best practices through code reviews

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in Go and Ruby

• Familiarity with SSO and identity management techniques

• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and token management

• Agile development methodology background

• Excellent communication in English
