1-800-GOT-JUNK? is searching for a Software Engineering Lead to enhance our products from Vancouver or Toronto in a hybrid setting. Spearhead full-stack development efforts in a collaborative environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, with 5+ years' experience, your focus will be on creating exceptional applications using latest technologies like React and Node.js. You'll work closely with the Omni Channel Product Team, shaping project requirements while also nurturing best coding practices. Your role will include significant involvement with API design and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from conception to production deployment

• Develop robust applications using NestJS and PostgreSQL

• Ensure RESTful API reliability and performance

• Collaborate on system integrations and debugging

• Foster quality assurance through testing frameworks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience

• Deep knowledge in TypeScript and modern JavaScript

• Expertise in PostgreSQL integration

• Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker environments

• Experience with observability tools
