Expert Hardware Engineering SysAdmin Role

Job Description

Unlock engineering potential with Insight Global as a Hardware Engineering Applications System Administrator. You'll drive the optimization of R&D tools and processes across multiple design centers worldwide.

Your role will directly influence engineering efficiency by enabling smooth onboarding and maintaining complex toolchains. With a focus on both hardware and software, you'll support high-performance teams and tackle operational challenges within secure engineering environments. Your experience with DevOps and application administration will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute automated onboarding of new hires for quick productivity

• Configure R&D applications in lab and cloud environments

• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively

• Deploy and support essential EDA/CAD applications

• Manage license servers and track application usage

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar

• 5+ years in IT system administration or applications engineering

• 2+ years supporting research and engineering initiatives

• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

• Proven support for high-performance engineering teams
