The School of Energy at BCIT seeks a regular, full-time BCGEU Faculty position focused on Power Engineering. This role is ideal for candidates with a First Class Standardized Power Engineer certification who have substantial industry experience. You will prepare lectures and engage closely with both students and industry partners to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction for various Power Engineering programs

• Develop and present engaging classroom materials

• Monitor and enhance online course structures

• Collaborate with industries for practical training delivery

• Undertake additional duties aligned with the faculty role

Requirements:

• First Class Standardized Power Engineer certification required

• Minimum five years relevant industry experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Instructional experience is a plus
