Innovative Geotechnical Engineer for Technical and Client Development

Job Description

Transform the geotechnical landscape as an Innovative Engineer focused on both technical delivery and client development. This position demands expertise and collaboration.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll allocate 75% of your time to technical project delivery, including investigations and construction-phase services. The remaining portion will center on strengthening client relationships and expanding business opportunities, ensuring your contributions yield significant growth for the geotechnical division in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead excavation support and shoring design initiatives

• Implement deep foundation design and load testing methodologies

• Conduct slope stability assessments and erosion control

• Oversee land development and municipal infrastructure projects

• Nurture junior engineers through mentoring and guidance

Requirements:

• Required P.Eng. designation with EGBC

• 8-15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience

• Solid foundation in soil mechanics and construction phases

• Proven success in project management and client handling

• Valid BC driver's license and openness to site-related travel
