Verification Engineer for ASIC Design

Job Description

Join Qualcomm Canada ULC as a Verification Engineer focusing on ASIC designs within compute subsystems. This role emphasizes your technical skills in verification for impactful engineering solutions.

With a robust background in ASIC design, you will be instrumental in developing and executing verification tests using UVM/System Verilog. You’re expected to communicate effectively with team leads and actively engage in identifying design issues. Your insights will be key in refining test plans and enhancing the quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans and verification strategies

• Use UVM/System Verilog to create an effective test environment

• Analyze test results and provide solutions

• Conduct performance checks and RTL coverage

• Document and communicate deviations promptly

Requirements:

• PhD with 2+ years or Master’s with 3+ years in ASIC design

• Proficiency in UVM and scripting languages

• Understanding of bus protocols like AHB/AXI

• Experienced in building complex UVM testbenches

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
