Laser Operator

Job Description

Please note: This is an on-site position and requires relocation to the Englefeld/Humboldt area or a nearby community. Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Laser Operator fabricates raw materials and components for Schulte products while meeting quality, safety, and production requirements. Responsibilities

Program and operate laser equipment Complete First Part Inspection procedures Read and interpret shop drawings Meet production schedules and deadlines Move and organize raw materials Conduct safety inspections of forklifts, hoists, and machinery Perform minor maintenance on laser equipment Operate forklifts safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow quality and safety procedures Complete work orders and other duties as assigned Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer and math skills Experience using hand, impact, and air tools Forklift, WHMIS, and overhead crane training are assets Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer.
