Job Description

Elevate your mining engineering career with JDS as a Senior Mining Engineer. This role focuses on open pit and underground design, technical studies, and cost estimation.

As a Senior Mining Engineer, you will support Project Managers across various projects, from feasibility studies to NI 43-101 technical reports. Your expertise will be paramount in preparing technical specifications, estimating CAPEX and OPEX costs, and designing critical mine infrastructure. You will also lead junior engineers and ensure high-quality communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and design services for mine studies

• Prepare mining equipment specifications and aid procurement

• Develop technical memos and reports for projects

• Estimate detailed CAPEX and OPEX costs effectively

• Design ventilation, backfill systems, and mine services
