Position # : 084228 Expected Start Date : October 05, 2026 Union : SEIU Facility : Cypress Regional Hospital City/Town : Swift Current Department : Plant Operation Type : Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date : April 05, 2027 FTE : 1 Shift Information : Days, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation : 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief : No Float : No Hours of Work : Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band : Pay Band 13 $27.990 to $30.000 (3 step range) Travel Required : No Job Description : Operates and monitors computerized building control systems and maintains facility/plant systems and equipment. Independently performs major repairs/installations on a wide variety of complex building systems and equipment. Human Resources Exemption : No Education

Building Systems Technician certificate Licenses

Valid Class 5 driver's license Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act Other Education and Training

Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job Pool Operator certificate, where required Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required by the job as required by the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Act 5th Class Engineering certificate, as required by the Competencies

Communication skills Organizational skills Interpersonal skills Intermediate - Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to work independently Knowledge of tools and equipment
