Senior Program Manager for Transformations

Job Description

Drive impactful change with Mitacs as a Senior Program Manager focusing on enterprise transformations. This role is integral in managing strategic projects that enhance innovation in Canada.

We seek a highly skilled Program Manager to lead enterprise transformation efforts within the Transformation Management Office. This role involves coordinating multiple programs while ensuring they align with our organizational objectives. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership abilities and experience in navigating complex project landscapes while achieving planned outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead governance and portfolio management for TMO initiatives • Manage end-to-end delivery of transformation programs • Foster stakeholder engagement and oversee vendor partnerships • Identify and mitigate project-level risks and dependencies • Update senior leadership on program progress and KPIs

Requirements: • Over 8 years of experience in program management • At least 5 years leading Project Managers or similar roles • Certification in PgM, PMP, or Agile methodologies required • Proven ability to manage significant budgets effectively • Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders
