Job Description

Elevate your expertise as a Millwright with Magna Mining in Sudbury. This role is dedicated to equipment maintenance, repairs, and ensuring worker safety in mining operations.

Magna Mining offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Millwright to join the McCreedy West team. Candidates should have completed a millwright apprenticeship or possess equivalent experience, complemented by a minimum of three years in the field. Your focus will be on diagnosing machinery issues and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct preventive maintenance on fixed plant equipment • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical failures • Perform safety inspections on operational equipment • Maintain compliance with Ontario's mining regulations • Address emergencies to reduce production downtime

Requirements: • Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent credentials • Certification of Qualification or red seal preferred • Minimum of 3 years of relevant millwright experience
