Job Description

Mecademic seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Developer to enhance robotic automation systems. Utilize your expertise in embedded systems to lead the design and optimization of mobile robotic arms.

In this full-time role based in Montreal, you will design embedded modules, implement and optimize code, and ensure compliance with industry safety standards. Engage with a dynamic R&D team to integrate innovative solutions that redefine automation in critical sectors. If you have 5+ years of experience and enjoy complex challenges, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and validate embedded software for robotic platforms

• Debug low-level code to maximize performance

• Design and revise electronic circuits (PCBs)

• Collaborate across teams to integrate software and hardware

• Develop testing tools to ensure software functionality

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience

• Bilingual in French and English

• Strong background in C and assembly languages

• Familiarity with ISO and IEC standards
