Savaria Elevator Technician GTA

Job Description

Pursue a rewarding career with Savaria as an Elevator Maintenance and Service Technician in the Greater Toronto Area. Your technical skills can help optimize elevator performance in homes and businesses.

As a key player at Savaria, you will be responsible for the maintenance and modernization of elevators in residential and commercial buildings throughout the GTA. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, and at least two years experience. Work hours are from Monday to Friday, with potential for additional hours as necessary.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on elevators • Follow established safety protocols diligently • Ensure all necessary system checks and adjustments • Exhibit professional behavior during all interactions • Establish rapport with clients and other tradespeople

Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12 education; EDM-A certification necessary • Two years as a Lead Mechanic in elevators required • Valid driver’s license with a good record • Must be able to perform demanding physical tasks • Successful completion of safety certifications
