Material Handler (Order Picker)

As a

Material Handler

at DHL Supply Chain in Calgary, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered warehouse equipment. Your core focus will be

picking and putting away product , verifying order accuracy, and maintaining the high standards DHL is known for across its global supply chain network. Working within a structured warehouse environment, you'll be expected to uphold

safety and cleanliness standards , conduct daily equipment inspections, and collaborate with your team to support accurate physical inventory counts. Attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time are essential in this role. Benefits and Salary

This position pays

$22.50 per hour . Full-time associates at DHL Supply Chain are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes

As a

Material Handler

at DHL Supply Chain, your shift will involve hands-on work with equipment and product from start to finish. These responsibilities are central to keeping the warehouse running smoothly and ensuring customers receive accurate, damage-free shipments on time. Pick and put away

product for shipment or stock, ensuring the exact number and type of items match customer orders Operate powered equipment

including hand carts and power jacks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product Physically load product

onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the specified shift Verify outgoing shipments

by comparing quantity, quality, labelling, and address against customer orders Inspect all inbound and outbound products

to confirm they are free of damage and infestation, and that product code dates are properly recorded Report discrepancies

such as non-available products and OS&D (over, short, and damaged) Maintain equipment

by changing batteries or LP tanks and monitoring power sources as needed; complete daily equipment inspections Assist with physical inventories

and help keep the facility neat, clean, and orderly Requirements / Skills

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a reliable, safety-minded individual who takes pride in their work and has hands-on experience in a

warehouse or distribution centre

environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating

powered material handling equipment

and can work efficiently within a fast-paced operation. High School Diploma

or equivalent is required Forklift certificate

or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program required within the first 30 days of employment 1 year of experience

operating a reach truck, pallet jack, or sit-down forklift (as noted in the role requirements) Six months of warehouse experience

is preferred Six months of forklift operation experience

is preferred Strong attention to detail for

order accuracy and product verification High School Diploma or Equivalent; forklift certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program required within the first 30 days of employment; 1 year operating reach truck, pallet jack or sit down forklift; six months warehouse experience preferred; six months forklift operation experience preferred
