Job Description

Kongsberg Discovery Canada Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to solve complex technical challenges and create high-quality software for sonar technology. Experience C/C++ development in innovative settings!

In this pivotal role, you will tackle the software development lifecycle, creating applications that interface with advanced sonar hardware. Your work will make a significant impact on marine research and sustainability efforts globally. Collaborating across teams, you will drive the development process, ensuring quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement C/C++ applications for diverse platforms

• Enhance existing application performance and reliability

• Lead debugging efforts for complex system issues

• Maintain clear documentation for testing processes

• Work with Agile teams for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering

• 3–5 years of programming in C/C++

• Solid understanding of multithreading and system-level programming

• Familiarity with Windows APIs and embedded systems

• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices
