Intermediate Frontend Developer – Angular

You’ll take ownership of frontend tickets - the full journey from analysis to deployment.

Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend features using Angular.

Collaborate closely with agile team members, including BAs and Tech Leads, to refine user stories and technical implementation details.

Integrate frontend components seamlessly with existing backend Web APIs and REST endpoints.

Ensure UI/UX consistency, code quality, and optimal performance across the application.

Collaborate with backend developers to understand service architecture and API design, partner with Business Analysts to validate user workflows, and work with product managers to understand the 'why' behind features.

This isn’t about following a checklist - it's about taking initiative, thinking critically, and owning outcomes.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience, with a heavy specialization in Angular

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS

You understand semantic HTML, accessible design, and responsive layouts

Experience integrating frontend features with REST APIs and backend services

You understand how frontend and backend work together and can debug integration issues

Proven experience consuming and working strictly against backend APIs

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and version control (e.g., Git)

Strong communication skills

Initiative and resourcefulness

Nice-to-Haves: Agile methodologies and experience with user stories, Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, Git and version control workflows, Experience in benefits administration, insurance, or regulated industries (not required), AngularJS experience, Understanding of backend technologies like C# or .NET
