Toronto Hydro GIS Analyst Position

Job Description

Join Toronto Hydro as a GIS Analyst to enhance asset management capabilities. In this hybrid role, you'll focus on data quality and GIS integration to support operational efficiency.

As the GIS Analyst, you'll report to the Manager of Records Services and be at the forefront of GIS and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) enhancement efforts. Your expertise in data management will be crucial for the development of accurate and reliable asset data across our systems. By applying your skills, you will assist in bridging engineering support and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead cross-functional projects for data governance

• Enhance integration of GIS with enterprise applications

• Act as the GIS subject matter expert for data validation

• Analyze and maintain GIS and SAP asset data

• Lead documentation of business processes and workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• 3-5 years in data management and GIS

• Proficient in SQL and relational database systems

• Knowledge of business analysis and process improvement

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
