Elevate user reading experiences as the Android Core Product Tech Lead at Speechify, recognized for inclusivity and innovation. Join a dynamic, fully remote team dedicated to transforming reading accessibility.

In this role, you will lead the Android team while shaping the development of our top-rated text-to-speech app for over 50 million users. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of engineering expertise and a strong understanding of both Kotlin and user experience design. You'll be central to discussions on critical app features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly own and innovate major app features

• Influence Android team evolution and product direction

• Oversee metrics and performance of core app functionalities

• Engage with multiple teams for collaborative efforts

• Facilitate peer review processes to enhance development quality

Requirements:

• 5 or more years in the software engineering field

• Expertise in Kotlin and relevant Android libraries

• Practical experience with at least one published Android app
