Job Description

Join UBC's Office of Indigenous Strategic Initiatives as a Program Coordinator focusing on Indigenous programming and engagement. This position emphasizes developing and evaluating programs aligned with the Indigenous Strategic Plan.

Reporting directly to the Indigenous Strategic Programming Manager, this role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and an understanding of Indigenous methodologies. Responsibilities involve managing strategic initiatives, facilitating workshops, and providing research support to enhance program effectiveness within the community.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the ISP committees and coordination efforts • Track program timelines and deliverables • Conduct research related to Indigenous educational goals • Plan and facilitate stakeholder engagement workshops • Evaluate initiatives and suggest improvements

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field • Minimum of two years of experience in program coordination • Strong knowledge of Indigenous community dynamics • Exceptional organizing and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with UBC community policies preferred
