Personal Support Worker

Provide personal hygiene and comfort care to residents Provide morning and evening personal hygiene care Distribute meals and provide assistance with eating Assist residents with mobility throughout the residence Maintain appropriate and continuous supervision of residents Immediately inform the nurse of any behavioral changes or unusual reactions Actively participate in recreational activities organized for residents Perform certain housekeeping duties, including laundering clothing and linens Contribute to cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and infection prevention Follow LOKIA Group procedures and protocols Administer medication only with Loi 90 certification and the required approval Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor Work under the authority of the Director of Care Requirements

DEP or AEP in Personal Support Work in Institutional and Home Care Settings RAC or an RAC AP-RPA exemption letter issued by a CFP (public vocational training centre) PDSP certification and physical card (formerly PDSB) Current CPR certification (minimum 16-hour training) Loi 90 certification required for this position 0–2 years of experience in a similar role Empathy, patience, and respect in interactions Initiative and autonomy in carrying out duties Good physical condition Ability to respond effectively in delicate situations and maintain confidentiality Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team Core Competencies
