Production Support Department: Production - Wyld Canada

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: British Columbia - Pitt Meadows

Reporting To: Production Supervisor

Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 / hour

Summary The Production Support team member plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. This role works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for preparing and accurately logging ingredients, rotating between stations as needed, performing continuous quality checks, and upholding sanitation and safety standards. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to perform visual quality inspections, and a commitment to minimizing waste. The role may also support packaging operations and take on additional responsibilities based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities Quickly prepare and accurately log ingredients, rotate stations and properly operate all equipment for production

Ability to operate under current state guidelines including compliant storage and handling of all products

Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced

Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency

Effectively communicate and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company

Maintain and comply with sanitation and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment

Perform visual quality inspections on products

Minimize waste where possible

Assist with Packaging responsibilities as required

At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment

Computer Skills: Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred

Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written

Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sites

Ability to maintain and manage confidential information

Provincial regulations require all applicants must be 19 years of age or older

ServSafe, Food Handler’s or FOODSAFE Level 1 card preferred

Will be required to submit to a background check

Must obtain all applicable government-required permits, licenses, and certifications

Benefits You'll receive a hourly rate of $22.00-27.00/hr. (CAD), 12 paid holidays, 120 hours vacation time, RRSP matching, and supplemental health, dental and vision insurance.
