Entry-Level Arborist Position with BCPHC

Job Description

Start your journey in arboriculture with BCPHC as an Arborist Assistant. Gain valuable experience in tree care while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

This entry-level role allows you to work under supervision and assist in various arboricultural practices. You'll be actively involved in tree installations, pruning, and using specialized equipment. In addition, you will help maintain safety protocols and communicate effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read work orders and understand job details

• Operate and maintain power tools like chainsaws

• Aid in tree removal and ground limb operations

• Perform storm cleanup and pest management tasks

• Set up and take down job sites efficiently

Requirements:

• High School Diploma; additional education is an asset

• Mandatory WHMIS 2015 and First Aid Certification

• Experience in Arboriculture or related fields preferred

• Class 5 Drivers Licence or intent to obtain
