Scientist Role in Analytical Testing

Job Description

Join CanAlt Health Labs Inc. as a Scientist and specialize in developing laboratory tests in a fast-paced, innovative setting focused on clinical analytics.

In this full-time position, about 75% of your time will be spent on laboratory-based work, including the validation and optimization of methods for proteins and small molecules. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the methods are efficient and scalable for commercial use while supporting scientific reporting and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate analytical methods for routine use

• Develop high-throughput workflows for the lab

• Enhance laboratory instruments for efficiency

• Contribute to laboratory reports and quality systems

• Provide scientific support to researchers and clients

Requirements:

• PhD or MSc in relevant field with lab experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on mass spectrometry

• Proficiency with laboratory automation and analytical platforms

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot techniques

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
