Responsibilities
Generate requirements, analyze, review and approve system design, oversee system integration, coordinate with various Integrated Product Teams/Suppliers, work with all departments for design, validation and verification, testing and certification, support to certification authorities.
Assist in functional, integration, qualification, and ground/flight test of the system.
Perform ground and/or flight test activities for Avionics systems on test rig.
Proven Ability / Key Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics.
Knowledge of the design of aircraft systems, in particular avionics systems and Flight Management Systems (FMS).
Knowledge of a complete development cycle from preliminary design to entry into service.
Knowledge of the specification, design, integration, testing and certification of avionic systems.
Knowledge of the RTCA standards DO-160, DO-178/331 and DO-254.
Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations (familiar with DO-326B, DO-256A, DO-255A).
