Chemco is hiring Shallow Utility Workers for underground fibre optic installations in Manitoba. Engage in a hands-on role emphasizing safety and effective team coordination.

This full-time seasonal opportunity suits those with a background in shallow utility work or similar fields. As part of a dedicated field crew, you will contribute to constructing essential infrastructure for communities. A commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines is necessary for working effectively on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support installation of underground utilities and fibre optics

• Ensure safety compliance around equipment and traffic

• Operate small equipment and tools on job sites

• Drive to various work locations as required

• Assist in site setup and material handling tasks

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license

• Ready to work out of town or extended hours

• Strong communication skills for team effectiveness

• Physically capable of performing demanding tasks

• CSTS and WHMIS certifications preferred or willing to obtain
