Our client in the Construction industry is seeking a Controller on a Contract basis to join their team!
Our client is looking for someone with either manufacturing or construction experience.
Please note, only candidates living in Calgary will be considered.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Full cycle accounting under ASPE;
Month end reporting;
Budgeting and forecasting;
Preparing private company financial reporting packages;
Project cost accounting, cost reconciliations and project cost allocations;
Preparing tax returns, including T2's, T5018's and partnership returns.
Requirements
2+ years similar experience in the construction industry;
2+ years supervisory experience
5+ years in a progressive accounting role;
Strong excel (pivot tables, vlookups at a minimum
Ideally designated or working towards their designation.
