Building Systems Technologist in GTA

Job Description

Become a Building Systems Technologist with Pinchin in the Greater Toronto Area. Bring your architectural or engineering expertise to improve building performance and project outcomes.

In this role, you will conduct Building and Property Condition Assessments while guiding your work with established standards. Collaborating with the Building Science team, you will evaluate existing structures, facilitate remedial work plans, and contribute to detailed assessments and designs that ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform Building Condition Assessments as per ASTM guidelines • Analyze existing building components for remedial solutions • Conduct invasive tests to gauge building integrity • Create precise AutoCAD drawings for project documentation • Maintain quality assurance and health/safety standards

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Architecture or Engineering Technology • Experienced with Building Condition Assessments procedures • Strong technical understanding of building envelopes and systems • Collaborative and eager to develop in the Building Science sector • Excellent report writing and documentation skills
