Advanced Geotechnical Engineering Position

Job Description

Explore an Advanced Geotechnical Engineer position with EXP in the vibrant Greater Vancouver area. Collaborate on innovative projects while enhancing your leadership skills.

This Intermediate role demands a blend of technical prowess and project management experience. You'll guide junior staff while working on geotechnical analyses, proposal preparations, and compliance documentation. You'll also engage actively in project meetings, ensuring clear communication and adherence to standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project scopes, budgets, and proposals

• Oversee geotechnical analyses and prepare technical reports

• Ensure compliance with Letters of Assurance and building authorities

• Attend construction meetings to address technical inquiries

• Support field review reporting to guarantee quality assurance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or geological engineering

• Professional Engineer registration with EGBC

• 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience

• Excellent skills with MS Office and AutoCAD programs

• Valid driver’s license for travel between project sites
