Are you an Electrical EIT looking for an opportunity to get out of the classroom and gain real-world experience?

PTW is looking for an Electrical EIT / Project Coordinator to join our team in Burnaby, BC . This is a hands‑on opportunity to build your engineering and project coordination experience while working closely with maintenance teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

You’ll be involved in electrical maintenance, small projects, scheduling, contractor coordination, and day‑to‑day project support — giving you exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial work.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Electrical EIT / Project Coordinator, you’ll support the coordination and execution of maintenance activities and small electrical projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Coordinating electrical maintenance activities and small projects

Supporting project planning, scheduling, and coordination

Mobilizing and coordinating subcontractors and contractors

Communicating with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders

Helping track project schedules, deadlines, materials, and deliverables

Supporting work planning and ensuring activities are completed efficiently

Assisting with project documentation, reports, and administrative requirements

Supporting cost tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and other project documentation

Helping identify issues and coordinating solutions with the project and field teams

Assisting with electrical project requirements and technical documentation

Providing general project and office-based support as required

Working closely with the electrical and operations teams to keep work moving safely and efficiently

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an Electrical EIT who is ready to learn, take ownership, and build their career in a hands‑on project environment.

You’ll bring:

Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program

Eligible for or currently registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Strong interest in electrical systems, maintenance, and industrial projects

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and keep projects on track

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Ability to work effectively with field teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Previous construction, industrial, maintenance, or project coordination experience is an asset
