Lead Project Manager Nuclear Construction

Job Description

Be a driving force in nuclear construction as Lead Project Manager at Aecon. Spearhead innovative projects with a focus on execution efficiency and safety.

As the Lead Project Manager, you will empower the New Build Nuclear team, overseeing projects like Small Modular Reactors and large-scale developments. Collaborating with senior management, you will strategize for success, manage project leads, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. Your leadership will guide project teams through on-target execution and quality monitoring while navigating complex challenges in nuclear energy construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee nuclear project execution strategies and schedules

• Validate project metrics for safety and quality

• Lead project negotiations and stakeholder meetings

• Coordinate resource allocation and staffing strategies

• Address construction planning challenges and develop solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant field

• 10-15 years in project management roles

• Strong familiarity with nuclear construction trends

• Proficiency in MS suite and project control methods
