Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Create reusable and scalable GitHub workflow templates for build, test, deployment and release automation Develop automation solutions using Python scripting for operational tasks, infrastructure management and DevOps workflows Integrate GitHub with external tools and platforms through APIs and automation frameworks Implement branch management, code quality gates, security scanning and deployment governance within CI/CD pipelines Troubleshoot and optimize build and deployment process to improve reliability and performance Manage and maintain GitHub repositories, permissions, secrets, and workflow configurations Ensure adherence to DevSecOps, security, compliance and operational standards Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and automation guidelines We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology, Engineering or a related field 4+ YOE in

DevOps, CI/CD or platform Engineering roles Proven experience implementing enterprise scale automation using

GitHub Actions and Python Preferred Experience

GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) environment experience Workflow orchestration and reusable workflow frameworks Repository migration and automation projects Enterprise DevOps transformation initiatives DevSecOps and platform engineering environments

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between

$49,000 – $95,500 (CAD) per year.

Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
