Senior Data Engineer for FinOps

Job Description

Transform financial analytics as a Senior Data Engineer focused on FinOps data pipelines in a hybrid role. Our client needs expertise in data integration and analytics.

In this position, you will develop and support vital FinOps data pipelines while ensuring quality and automation. The client is looking for a seasoned data expert with 5-10 years of related experience. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with platforms such as Azure Synapse or BigQuery will set you up for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain data pipelines for effective financial reporting

• Integrate billing, usage, and vendor data efficiently

• Support analytics for budget tracking and optimization

• Build models for cost analysis and ROI tracking

• Ensure data quality and lineage throughout processes

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in data-focused roles

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or similar

• Extensive knowledge of ETL/ELT processes

• Experience with data platforms and reporting tools

• Strong grasp of data governance principles
