Risk Manager for Infrastructure Projects

Job Description

WSP is looking for a Risk Manager specializing in infrastructure projects, particularly rail and transit, across major Canadian cities. This role is essential for enhancing proactive risk management.

In this position, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to implement and uphold robust risk management systems. Reporting to the Risk Team Lead, you will execute risk strategies in project planning and drive the success of complex infrastructure initiatives. With at least 8 years of experience, your focus will be on stakeholder engagement and effective risk communication.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead risk identification and mitigation workshops • Collaborate with teams to build effective treatment plans • Maintain comprehensive risk registers for projects • Conduct risk modeling to assess impacts • Deliver detailed risk reports to support decision-making

Requirements: • 8+ years of relevant experience in risk management • 5 years in project management or controls • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Strong ability to engage stakeholders effectively
