Job Summary
Responsible for comprehensive strategic planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all fundraising and donor relations activities across the council with staff assigned in this functional area. Manages day-to-day fundraising operations including research and prospect identification, cultivation and communications strategies, proposal development, grant application writing and tracking, solicitations strategies, donor stewardship, database management, communications and outreach activities, and development-related volunteer relations. This position is designated as safety sensitive.
Job Qualifications
• Experience in planning and coordinating events for large numbers of participants.
• Experience using data management systems such as Raisers Edge, SalesForce, etc.
• Experience developing budgets and preparing reports.
• Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ease of speaking to large groups.
• Knowledge and experience of fund raising and business management strategies and techniques.
