Shaft Superintendent for Mining Projects

Job Description

Lead shaft construction and sinking operations for mining projects in Northern Saskatchewan. This role demands effective project management, technical coordination, and safety compliance.

As a Shaft Superintendent, you will oversee all shaft construction activities and manage teams to ensure operations meet engineering, safety, and quality standards. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating excavation, concrete work, and underground services while optimizing performance and compliance with project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shaft sinking and construction activities

• Coordinate shaft excavation and underground operations

• Develop short-term work plans and production targets

• Monitor contractor performance and compliance

• Conduct safety inspections and address hazards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in shaft construction management

• Strong leadership and communication skills
