TBM Project Construction Manager Role

Job Description

Lead transformative underground projects as a Construction Manager at Frontier-Kemper in Squamish, BC. Manage TBM operations, oversee budgets, and ensure exceptional safety standards.

As part of Frontier-Kemper, you'll require a blend of technical knowledge and management experience to ensure project success in heavy civil construction. Your role will also involve close cooperation with various stakeholders to streamline project execution and enhance safety protocols while utilizing innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities: • Directly assist project managers with risk management • Facilitate procurement and proposal development activities • Communicate with subcontractors to ensure timely workflow • Regularly evaluate construction activity progress • Support post-bid planning, scheduling, and cost control

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • 10 years’ experience in TBM operations • Experience with Herrenknecht TBMs • 5+ years in a managerial role • Ability to work in underground environments
