Experienced Mechanical Assembler Role

Job Description

Become an integral part of Insight Global's team as a Mechanical Assembler in Barrie, ON, specializing in custom automation machinery. We invite skilled builders to complete significant projects.

Ideal candidates will possess 3-5+ years of experience in machine building, working hands-on with mechanical systems. You will be instrumental in interpreting engineering drawings, troubleshooting assembly challenges, and ensuring timely project completion alongside senior Builders. This fast-paced position provides growth opportunities through to year-end and potential future employment.

Key Responsibilities: • Build custom automated machines from engineering specifications • Troubleshoot and solve assembly challenges proactively • Work collaboratively with project leads and fellow Builders • Operate manual machining equipment for assembly purposes • Ensure accuracy and quality in mechanical builds

Requirements: • 3-5 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities • Ability to read and understand engineering documentation • Reliable transportation for daily onsite duties in Barrie • Personal hand tools required for the role
