Job Description

Become a vital part of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency as a Radiation Oncologist at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. This full-time permanent position emphasizes innovative cancer treatment and comprehensive care practices.

You will integrate into a dedicated oncology team, utilizing cutting-edge Varian equipment to provide excellent patient care. Emphasis is placed on participation in clinical trials and mentoring medical students in a supportive environment. The opportunity to expand care programs, including HDR brachytherapy and SBRT, is part of this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy using state-of-the-art technology

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary oncology care team

• Mentor medical students and engage in clinical education

• Contribute to advancing cancer treatment programs

• Participate in research initiatives for improved outcomes

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in radiation oncology

• Fellowship in Gynecological Brachytherapy preferred

• Eligibility for Saskatchewan medical licensure

• Credentials in oncology practices beneficial but not mandatory

• Strong communication skills in English required
