Job Description

Shape Alberta's neighbourhood infrastructure projects as an Engineering Program Manager with the City of Edmonton. Oversee strategic project initiatives to enhance community living.

You will lead the Building Great Neighbourhoods Infrastructure Delivery team. This vital role involves guiding project managers in executing neighbourhood renewals and rehabilitations while ensuring adherence to project management standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in securing project funding and developing collaborative relationships with various partners.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead project planning and resource management for neighbourhood projects • Develop and implement tracking processes for project delivery • Support Project Managers in issue resolution and risk management • Foster strategic relationships across multiple departments • Review and approve designs from consultants to ensure project success

Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with P.Eng. certification • Minimum 7 years in engineering/project management roles • Thorough understanding of construction processes and legislation • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage contractors • Strong verbal and written communication skills
