Become a key player in developing cutting-edge infotainment systems as an Expert Android Developer at General Motors in Markham. This hybrid role emphasizes advanced Android design and cross-team collaboration.

In the Staff Android Developer position, you will leverage your 8–10+ years of Android expertise to influence architectural decisions and lead complex feature implementations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into compelling Android designs and mentor junior engineers to improve code quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sophisticated Android features for vehicles

• Evolve system architectures across multiple apps

• Analyze complex technical issues in the Android framework

• Collaborate with Product and UX teams for design best practices

• Mentor engineers in code reviews and debugging

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of Android development experience

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java; knowledge in C++/Golang
