Join OpenTable as an Engineering Manager, focusing on platform stability and team leadership in a hybrid work setup. Be a key player in advancing our Serving Platforms team.

This role entails overseeing a team of ten engineers dedicated to maintaining and improving critical infrastructure components. You will ensure seamless operations within our Quality Assurance and Production environments, collaborating closely with various platform teams. Your leadership will drive the on-call readiness and incident response activities while mentoring your team for professional growth and accountability.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage on-call rotation and incident mitigation processes • Enhance reliability, scalability, and security of systems • Coach and mentor a globally distributed engineering team • Oversee quarterly priorities and team operating cadence • Communicate technical challenges and resolutions to leadership

Requirements: • Over 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams • Proven skills in project planning and coordination • Extensive knowledge of modern cloud and hybrid infrastructures • Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python or Go • Excellent ability to convey technical concepts clearly
