Mobile Maintenance Supervisor in Mining

Job Description

Join Coeur Silvertip as a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, where you'll supervise maintenance teams in the pursuit of operational excellence. This role features a two-week rotation in Northern British Columbia.

In this essential position, you will lead maintenance operations at the Silvertip mine, enhancing both safety and efficiency. A minimum of five years of supervisory experience alongside a Red Seal Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification is required. You will oversee equipment repair and ensure compliance with crucial safety regulations while nurturing a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and lead Mobile Maintenance personnel • Conduct repairs on various mining equipment • Manage inventory and parts procurement • Ensure regulatory compliance of all equipment • Perform troubleshooting and operational oversight

Requirements: • Red Seal or Interprovincial Journeyman's Certificate • Five years supervisory experience in the mining sector • Strong mechanical skills in underground equipment • Experience with health and safety compliance • Physically fit and possess a valid driver's license
