Sr Advanced Project Engineer – New Product Development

Job Description As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead and manage advanced engineering projects within the Aerospace business unit. You will provide technical expertise, project management, and strategic direction to drive innovation and deliver high‑quality solutions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, industry experts, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and advance the company’s mission.

You will report directly to a Sr Engineering Program Manager and work out of our Mississauga, ON location on a hybrid work schedule. Your impact will help the company drive innovation, deliver cutting‑edge aerospace solutions, and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities Lead new product development projects from concept through qualification and production transition

Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and budgets

Coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams including electrical, software, systems, and mechanical engineering

Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project execution

Support technical reviews, product development activities, and project performance reporting

Drive risk/opportunity management and support cost estimation activities

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development (NPD)

Experience working with embedded systems, avionics, aerospace electronics, or integrated hardware/software products

Experience leading or coordinating cross‑functional engineering projects

Willingness to work on commercial and military aerospace programs

Eligibility for CGP clearance (controlled goods program environment)

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000 in Mississauga, Ontario.
